Dr. Shelly Mixson is a Florida
native. She attended the University of Florida, graduating
with honors, and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
She worked in nursing at Shands Teaching Hospital for two
years. She furthered her education love for healthcare by
receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University
of Florida in 2001. She has worked in both family, cosmetic as
well as pediatric dentistry.

Even though Dr. Mixson
has many academic achievements, it is Dr. Mixson’s personal
attention to her patient’s need that she finds most rewarding.
Integrity, compassion, gentleness, quality and humor are all
attributes that she brings to her practice. |
